We collect information to operate, improve, and secure SoundBreak:
- Account and Profile Information: Name, email, password, and optional profile details.
- Distribution Information: Legal name and attribution details needed to release music to DSPs.
- Payment & Payout Information: Stripe Connect account information to process royalty payouts.
- Usage Data: Interactions with the platform, generated session data, device information, IP address.
- Analytics: We use tools such as Google Analytics and may use additional analytics tools to improve performance and understand usage patterns.
2) How we use your information
- To operate and provide SoundBreak’s features
- To process royalty distribution and payouts
- To personalize your experience
- To monitor and improve platform performance and security
- To communicate with you about updates, support, and account notices
3) How we share information
We share information only when necessary to operate the service:
- Stripe: To process identity verification and payouts.
- Distribution & Royalty Partners (e.g., Revelator): To deliver your music and track royalty earnings.
- Analytics & Security Providers: To help us maintain quality, stability, and performance.
- We do not sell your personal information.
4) Social & DSP distribution
If you choose to distribute music through SoundBreak, your name and co-writer attribution may be included in metadata sent to music distributors and streaming platforms.

- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Request that we stop certain processing

6) Data storage & security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to continuously improve the safety of your data.
7) Children’s data
SoundBreak is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
8) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our features evolve. If changes are significant, we will notify you in-app or by email.
